Sacred Temple, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep

Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is one of the most sacred temple in Thailand. Located in northern Thailand. Borommathat Wat Phra Doi Suthep Doi Suthep is located on the side about 3,000 meters above sea level. This location may be among the most beautiful scenery you might see. Built by King Gue-Na in 1383, this temple Chedi great place made of copper plates (twenty-two feet high) that covered gold and contains the sacred relics of Buddha.





 



Apart from being a major tourist destination, the temple is very important because thefollowers of Buddha visited pilgrimage site during the year. This temple has four worshipspace and a golden Buddha statue can be found in the temple. To be able to come hereyou can climb a ladder (about 300 steps) or use the cable car.





 





Location:Wat Phra That Doi Suthep located 15 kilometers from Chiang Mai. Perhaps the easiest way to go here is to take one of the many buses that regularly Songtaew types left the city to the temple from the market at the corner of Road and Manneenopparat ChotanaRoad (outside Gate Changpuak) and costs 60 Baht (35 Baht and 25 Baht to the templeto return fare).
